It is with our deepest sadness to inform you that Blues legend and founder of The Groove Monsters, Dave Fiester, 52, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2005. With his passing, Brevard County, Florida has lost one of its icons, and the music scene will never be the same. Funeral services were held on Thurs., Aug. 25. Following the funeral, a Dave Fiester "Larger Than Life" Memorial was held. Many of Dave's friends and fans came and shared the stories, fame and music of Big Dave. Big Dave left behind a long list of fans, many devoted friends, his beloved mother, brother and sisters, but he will live on in our hearts, and his music will live on forever...
